Well, the antibiotics seem to be doing the trick. I am feeling better than I have for the past three years. Undiagnosed pneumonia really sticks around if it doesn't kill you. Doctors are pretty good once they get a handle on what's bothering you, but in my case, they dropped the ball on finding out what was wrong with me. I smoke, so most of the Dr.'s just wrote off the cough to smoking. Once I was hospitalized and they took x-rays of my chest they could actually see the infection and begin to treat it. It took a month but with only a few more days of antibiotics left, I think I'll be strong again.

Now for the bad part, I have to find a new job. Playing with a tiny bankroll while sick is a really bad idea. Playing while running poorly is a pretty bad idea too! Put the two together and you have a perfect storm for wiping out any chance of making money. Alas, I have been there before. There is a silver lining though. I have never applied for disability or unemployment in my life, despite the heart attacks, the Graves disease and the pneumonia so I applied this time and even with Soboba fighting the unemployment claim, I believe I have qualified. I was told it started on May 4th. I was told to contact the Disability office to get back pay for the past month. I hope I can qualify for it, cross your fingers for me. The two programs can't overlap dates so be careful if you're ever in a similar situation.

If someone knows of a supervisor/manager job in So. Cal let me know. My dealing days are over, the body has just broken down too far. Good luck to all.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Pneumonia is pretty serious, good thing they did catch it, better late than never! Good luck with the job hunt and the disability.
