Today I was fired when I was in the hospital with pneumonia. The joys of working for Soboba Casino in San Jacinto Ca. Ten years in business and they are still one of the poorest ran casino's in the business. Think about the explosion in gambling in the country and in So. Cal in general and then think how Soboba still can't get it's act together in terms of advertising, customer expansion and decent management.

Now, my decision is to play or to look for work in a poor economy with ill health. Put the cards in the air until things improve. Have fun everyone.

That you got fired of course! Everything is good here, I went to the floor. I miss Cali and my family, I'll get back there someday...

I heard Pechanga had to stop serving shot drinks but I didn't know about the night clubs. That's funny in a sad way. I knew they over served, saw that daily.

Hope you get to feeling better. Security is a good thing but working sick sucks.

Wow, Jen. Not even a hello. Nice to see you too! I am trying to figure out what part of my post was a load of crap? That I was fired? That Soboba was poorly run? That I am sick? That I play and make money? That I like to work for the security it brings? Anyway, I hope you are well in O.K..

By the way, Pechanga had to close both night clubs, they can't serve shot drinks because they were closed down by the ABC for underage serving and over serving their patrons. I heard a place by Palm Springs (maybe Morongo or the Spa) was closed down for booze as well.

What a load of crap! If you can make enough playing, do it. If you're sick you won't have to 'work' when you're not feeling well!
