If anyone currently traveling as a circuit dealer is a skilled photographer and would like to be used as a photographer during the events get in touch with me ASAP. Before we leave Tunica would be good.
If you are not currently are not a regular with us; this might be your chance to make the team. If you have previous photography experience send me your qualifications as a photographer, what equipment you have, and what camera you would be shooting with.
Hey Bill several years ago I worked as a professional sports photographer. I was in the business for about ten years covering all levels and types of sports from high school, college, and professional sports such as football, basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, etc.. In addition to covering all sports I also used to do weddings, social, and news events. While back in that age it was all on film (I also had one of the largest and advanced private darkrooms in the Southeastern United States), everything today is of course digital.
I would be very interested in talking with you as to what type of photos you are looking to capture (press release, group, individual, candid, etc.) I have a couple of digital cameras and would be open to purchasing additional equipment based on what the needs of the end product requires. Some of the things I would need to consider would be what size of printed photo you are going to need or if they are just for posting on the internet. I also have several programs on my computer that allow me to adjust any photos that needs correction. I can't fix it if it is out of focus but I am able to correct things such as red eye, lighting and contrast errors to make even a bad photo look good (same type of stuff I used to have to do in the darkroom but on the computer you know the end result before you waste a lot of time, printing paper, and chemicals). Plus I am able to do a lot of really cool adjustments and color shifts that are used to add an artistic touch.
I think you have both my phone number and e-mail address so when you have a minute either give me a call or drop me an e-mail and we can go from there. Unfortunately I am not in Tunica (I tried to get on), but there is a chance that I will be traveling back that way in the next couple of days (my father is in the hospital and getting ready to have surgery and based on the outcome of the surgery, I may need to be in Tennessee for a week or so to assist my sister in helping with his recovery. If this is the case, I could get away for a day or two and run down to Tunica).
