Seasonal Work in Vegas

Anyone know how to secure a spot as a poker dealer for the larger tournaments in vegas? I currently deal at Foxwoods Casino but would love to deal some of the larger tournaments in vegas.

Try contacting Bill Bruce on this site. He works a lot of those type tournaments and might be able to tell you who to talk to.

Most of the "larger tournaments in Las Vegas rely on thier own staff and thier extra board. However I would contact each Vegas property and see if they need any "extra board" help for any upcoming big events.

The main time when there is a shortage of dealers is during the WSOP (coming up in a week or so). Not only does Harrah's and the RIO need a massive amount of dealers, so do the other properties. Places like the Venetian and the Bellagio put on tournaments that run the same time in an attempt to attract some of the poker business that flocks to Vegas each year during the WSOP. I think the Golden Nugget is putting on a large tournament this year also and may still need staffing. If you are able to get in with the Bellagio tournament crew they have multiple major tournaments in which they use the extra staffing. I would call these properties directly and speak to the Poker Room manager or Tournament Director if they have one. Good Luck.
